Sprout Courses

Exploring Careers in Tourism and Hospitality

The introduction of Sprout Courses aims to provide students with an understanding of professional frameworks and an early experience of innovative and practical teaching methods. These courses, driven by each department, consist of four key components: hands-on small projects, career development sharing by outstanding alumni, industry-focused guest lectures, and guided field visits to relevant sectors. The goal is to train students in basic practical skills such as social observation, problem analysis, and solution proposal, while also fostering a sense of mission to contribute to society.

The course design emphasizes hands-on teaching and field visits, incorporating the CDIO learning model to establish concrete educational methods for career development in tourism and hospitality. Through corporate visits, students gain deeper insights into organizational culture via speaker experiences, enhancing their independent thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. This approach aims to cultivate talents that meet the demands of related industries.
