Tourism Technology Strategy
In response to future developments, this course aims to cultivate students' logical thinking, interdisciplinary courage, and innovative capabilities. The course theme focuses on AI-related technologies and employs an inquiry-based problem-solving approach to develop students' reasoning and problem-solving skills. It is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills related to current IT concepts and communication systems. The course sets several objectives:
● Students will understand the growing importance of IT and how to apply and leverage these technologies and systems to enhance the current and future management efficiency of tourism and hospitality operations.
● Explain the significance of information systems in the hospitality and tourism industries and how their deployment can help tourism-related businesses gain a competitive advantage.
● Discuss the impact of information technology on the operations and strategic management of various sectors within the tourism and hospitality industries.
